RECORD - SETTING WEEKEND FOR TAPIT:

Mister Pippit, Whitehall's Tapit Colt - One Share Available!

Concord Point: 3YO Tapit colt powered through the stretch at Prairie Meadows Racetrack to a Track Record – Setting 8 1/2 length romp in the $250,000 Iowa Derby (G3) on Sunday.  Other Tapit winners are: Careless Jewel, Laragh, Testa Matta, Stardom Bound, Tapitsfly, and Touching Beauty.

On Saturday, Malibu Moon's leading 3yo filly Devil May Care captured her second G1 in the Mother Goose Stakes.  Less than 15 minutes later, Malibu Moon's G2 winners Malibu Prayer & Luna Vega ran 1-2 in the Lighthouse Stakes.

New York State and Horse Racing will Rise!

We really feel that good days will come for New York Racing.  The local top management from OTB and Mr. Charles Hayward of NYRA care very much.

Whitehall Stable has some new two-year-old racehorses that are NY breds with excellent potential.  We just purchased a high quality Freud, NY filly named, Flirtatious Spring.  This filly was Linda Rice's top pick!  Recently, another Freud filly named Franny Freud just beat up on the boys and won the New York Stallion Stakes.  This new Whitehall Stable racehorse will be trained by Linda Rice and is selling out fast!  Please take a look at her along with our other top notch two-year-old prospects.

James Pippo, President of Whitehall Stable is pleased to announce "Leading Trainer," Linda Rice will be joining the Whitehall Stable team.  Linda will be directly involved in training and in the selection process of Whitehall Stable racehorses along with Seth Benzel.  Linda won the 2009 racing title at Saratoga, NY.  Linda had 20 victories from 75 starts.  She was the first woman to ever accomplish this in 141 years of racing.  James Pippo said, “it is an honor and privilege to welcome Linda Rice.”

Rice Joins Whitehall Stable

New York trainer Linda Rice, the leading trainer at Saratoga in 2009, will be involved directly in the training and the selection process of Whitehall Stable racehorses.

“We are expanding and growing, and it is an honor and privilege to welcome Linda Rice to our team,” said Whitehall president James Pippo.

Rice became the first woman to capture the Saratoga training title when she saddled 20 winners from 75 starters.

Whitehall Stable announced yesterday that trainer Linda Rice will be part of the racing partnership’s team.  The leading conditioner at Saratoga in 2009, Rice will help select and train Whitehall’s new recruits, along with Seth Benzel. “It is an honor and privilege to welcome Linda Rice,” said Whitehall President James Pippo.

The Whitehall Stable team is proud to welcome another racehorse to the Whitehall family.  We just purchased an impressive Henny Hughes, chestnut colt at Fasig-Tipton Calder Selected Two-Year-Olds in Training Sale.  This racehorse has excellent pedigree and was one of the fastest in the entire sale running 1/8^th in 10.2 and he galloped out huge in 35.1. This individual is by the mighty Henny Hughes and is out of Flapper Dancer, who is the dam of 11 other foals of racing age, 10 to race, all winners!  This individual bears a striking resemblance to his father in regards to conformation and movement.  In fact, Taylor Made contacted us after the sale to comment and compliment us on this nice racehorse.  Below are the links to view his videos.

New Current Offerings:

I thought it was important to further indicate that we have tremendous new yearling racehorses. We love all of their pedigrees and I would like to highlight a few important points. Mister Pippit by Tapit is a fine specimen. Tapit is red-hot and is the leading freshmen and juvenile sire of 2008. Recently, Careless Jewel by Tapit, was the dominate winner of the Alabama Stake in Saratoga.

The sale topper Medaglia d’Oro colt named Main Principal is outstanding. Medaglia d’Oro is now the top worldwide stallion. There are also grade 1 and 2 winners on the dam side of this breathtaking individual.

If you look at all of our new horses you will see that the sire lines are doing incredible. We like each horse for different reasons and we are proud to offer these racehorses!

Whitehall Stable Purchases Sales Topper at the Fasig-Tipton NY Bred Preferred Yearlings sale!!!

In the Thoroughbred Times we were highlighted nationwide!  Here is what was quoted in general, "Jim Pippo of Whitehall signed the ticket for the sale-topping Medaglia d'Oro colt.  Whitehall President, Jim Pippo, Vice-President, Vincent Pippo, and Seth Benzel, said they viewed the colt as a classic prospect.  ‘Medaglia d'Oro is the hottest sire out there,’ Benzel said.  The family line is strong, and we thought as an individual he had the most potential of anything in this sale to accomplish the most.  To us, the sky is the limit with this type of horse.  Jim Pippo and Whitehall have stepped up and shown they're part of this game and willing to go that extra mile to get a good horse.

Two other Medaglia d'Oro horses at big sales just sold for over one million dollars each and we were extremely fortunate to purchase this colt for this kind of value.  He is a wonderful specimen and has a classic pedigree on the Dam side with multiple grade 1 and 2 winners.
