LETTER FROM JAMES PIPPO - PRESIDENT - JANUARY 13, 2012
I hope the New Year has started off well for all of you. We are extremely pleased that our Whitehall Stable program continues to grow. I think everyone involved in the sport of horse racing feels excited about many new developments. The new Aqueduct Casino with the new VLT’S is off to a fantastic start generating large revenues. The increased purses in NY are no doubt getting everyone’s attention and new players in the game.
Today, I am happy and pleased to praise the new Capital OTB Clubhouse Race Book opening in Albany, NY. I sincerely congratulate all of the board of directors and especially John Signor (President and CEO). The total OTB team did a marvelous job building this modern facility. I recommend that all of you stop down and see this state of the art sports complex. When you visit please take a look at our first class, framed Whitehall Stable Silks we are proud supporters of the new OTB.
I urge everyone to please take a look at the current Whitehall Stable Offerings and purchase your partnerships now. This is an ideal time to get involved in the sport of thoroughbred racing. Thank you.
SPECIAL FEATURE HIDDEN WARRIOR!!!

It is interesting to point out that we pride ourselves on
appreciating value at Whitehall Stable. In other words, we attempt
to buy quality bloodstock for less than traditional rates. So, why
are we here telling you that we have purchased an A.P. WARRIOR colt
for many times that of his stud fee and his yearling average?
Because this guy is the real deal! He is stunning. New
York Bred or not, we are betting that this sonofagun can run with
the big boys. He’s powerful and “fills the eye.” He’s not too heavy
to be light on his feet.
His sire, A. P. WARRIOR is a young stallion which has all the
credentials for sire success. A brilliant winner at 5 1/2 furlongs
at two, he captured stakes on dirt and turf at three. He is by A. P.
INDY – already represented by five sons who have Grade 1 winners in
their first crops – out of a Champion Filly from the immediate
family of STORM BIRD.
ROAD TO MANDALY is the dam. She could really run, as she broke her
five furlong maiden at first asking at Woodbine Racetrack. She went
on to tally at Remington Park in The Oaks, their premiere filly
race. Her two young foals of racing age have done remarkably well.
Her three year old colt is New York stakes placed and winner of
$52K, and her four year old daughter has won 8 of 16 including the
recent Niagara Stakes for total of $245K. ROAD TO MANDALAY might be
vying for NY Bred Broodmare-of-the-Year honors in 2010.
The A.P. INDY /STORM CAT cross has resulted in dozens of graded
stakes winners over the last decade, and this colt shares those
lines. Clearly, his breeding will only help.
A “live” family….successful cross…the best individual from a young
, exciting stallion’s book…impressive looking colt….trainer’s
enthusiastic remarks…this is what you want when purchasing a young
candidate for today’s Sport of Kings. Let him be The ROAD TO SUCCESS
for you!
LIMITED PARTNERSHIPS AVAILABLE!!!
LETTER FROM JAMES PIPPO - PRESIDENT - DECEMBER 19, 2011
The Whitehall Stable Team wishes everyone a happy and joyful holiday season. I just spent two days at Belmont Race Track watching many Whitehall Stable horses in various stages of training. We’re extremely excited to run some races year end and look forward to continued success entering 2012. The good news in NY continues to spread with the positive results within the Aqueduct Casino Complex. They’re reporting increased revenues right out of the box which means higher increased purse payouts up to 47%. They will even start raising purses one week sooner at the end of December. We should have close to 10 races between now and January which is good for Whitehall Stable. Please view our Current Offerings to see our available partnerships.
NY PURSES TO INCREASE
On October 28th the new upgraded Aqueduct Racino
will open. Finally, after such an extreme long wait purses
will increase across the board beginning Jan 1st for all of New York
racing. Believe it or not, New York will soon have one of the
highest racing purses nationwide. In just the first year of
the casino operation 6.5% of the revenue from the video lottery
terminals will go to NYRA's purse structure. Purses at
Aqueduct are expected to increase by approximately $8.6 million or
36% compared to the 2011 race meet.
Here is a quote from the recent Thoroughbred
Times Oct 22, 2011 issue:
"Overnight stakes races will carry purses of
$80,000 for routes and $75,000 for sprints, up from $60,000 during
this year's Aqueduct winter / spring meet. Purses for maiden
special weight races will rise to $65,000 for routes, up from
$43,000, and $60,000 for sprints, up from $42,000. Horses
running for a $10,000 claiming tag will be running in races worth
$31,000 for routes and $30,000 for sprints."
The Whitehall Stable team has been waiting and is
now ready to push hard continuing our growth and success.
Right now we have around a 20% win ratio based on our last 39
starts. This is very good compared to many different
partnerships and we’re looking forward to many more wins in the not
too distant future. We have given our horses the respected
needed timelines to enhance their overall total performances.
I sincerely suggest and welcome existing partners and new people to
come on board with Whitehall Stable. Right now, if you take a
quick look at our
Current Offerings you will see some excellent opportunities and
we have some standout high quality New York bred racehorses.
Please call quickly because we have only limited shares available at
this time. I would love to let you visit our barns at Belmont
to see these future top racehorse prospects. You not only can
build new and lasting friendships but put yourself in a position to
receive some large monetary rewards.
We are ready to serve and support your different
requests as you partner with us at Whitehall Stable. Don't be
afraid to jump on the train and have a ride that could be beyond
your imagination. Watching a young racehorse is a thrill that
overtakes your heart and soul. Feel free to give us a call and
we will be happy to speak about our program and different
racehorses. Thank you and I hope the upcoming holiday season
is bright for you and your families.

CONGRATULATIONS TO LINDA RICE ON BEING NAMED NEW YORK TRAINER OF THE YEAR FOR 2010
Linda Rice Named New York Trainer of the Year
We love this time of year watching our young potential racehorses train in Ocala, FL. When we visit there it is for sure a special time. I would like to give you just a quick update on our different individuals that we are offering:
Gallant Breeze: this colt is a great mover and has excellent size. His pedigree speaks for itself and we are hoping he has the total class to be a Saratoga star!
Hidden Warrior: he is a stunning NY bred colt. We are betting that this sonofagun can run with the big boys. He’s powerful and “fills the eye.” He’s not too heavy to be light on his feet. Our trainer Seth Benzel thinks the world of him.
Buddy Jones: this young racehorse impresses everyone at our training center. He is a fluid athletic mover, and his impressive stride should make him a top racehorse.
Adirondack Dancer: is a racy and rugged NY bred colt with top pedigree. This colt already shows impressive speed and a competitive spirit. Whitehall Stable is absolutely “tickled” to have this colt in our shedrow!
WHITEHALL STABLE MOURNS BELOVED BUDDY JONES

Last Friday, November 12, after a long illness we lost a dear
friend named Buddy Jones who we considered family. Buddy Jones
was a simple honest man from Lexington, KY. From the first
time we met there was a special bond. Buddy, from day one
started to share our dream that Whitehall Stable would start and
grow. For years he stood by us with his total caring support.
Even though you did not know him, I want to tell you something from
my heart.
Buddy Jones really had no family, but he did have more LOVE
on the inside and he was GOLD. He was very nice and also
extremely smart. I think of how he would make us laugh and his
presence would light up a room. Being very honest, I never saw
a man that was so sick fight so brave and try hard like Buddy.
Even in tough days he would show warm compassion, never complain or
give up.
When Buddy was really struggling and hurting we wanted to
HONOR him and lift his spirits. I asked him with all due
respect if he would give me permission to name our new racing
Ghostzapper colt prospect Buddy Jones. Boy, was that a good
thing. Buddy loved horses and Ghostzapper was one of his
favorites.
At that time it was like a child at Christmas and for Buddy
to have a namesake made him very happy. At such a trying time
it was the best thing for him. I can tell you that when we
gave him the big picture of his horse it never left his side.
It was pleasing to have Dr. Eisaman at our FL training center
tell us recently that our racehorse Buddy Jones was doing well.
In his early stages of training, this colt is very intelligent, a
real nice mover and most of all shows confidence. On the dam side,
the mother, Talent Lady, has a class pedigree. No matter what
because of our love for Buddy this colt will get some special
attention. Linda Rice will train and take care of Buddy Jones.
Last and MOST IMPORTANT I would appreciate you all knowing
one thing. This man BUDDY JONES was and symbolized a TRUE
CHAMPION. Please, if possible, say a prayer that BUDDY JONES
is now safe and sound and never forgotten. Thank you.
Jim

Henny Hughes / Flapper Dancer, Chestnut Colt Purchased at Fasig-Tipton, Calder Sale!
The Whitehall Stable Team and Partners with Henny Hughes / Flapper Dancer Colt
The Whitehall Stable team is proud to welcome another racehorse to the Whitehall family. We just purchased an impressive Henny Hughes, chestnut colt at Fasig-Tipton Calder Selected Two-Year-Olds in Training Sale. This racehorse has excellent pedigree and was one of the fastest in the entire sale running 1/8th in 10.2 and he galloped out huge in 35.1. This individual is by the mighty Henny Hughes and is out of Flapper Dancer, who is the dam of 11 other foals of racing age, 10 to race, all winners! This individual bears a striking resemblance to his father in regards to conformation and movement. In fact, Taylor Made contacted us after the sale to comment and compliment us on this nice racehorse. Below are the links to view his videos.

Whitehall Stable Purchases Sales Topper at the Fasig-Tipton NY Bred Preferred Yearlings sale!!!
In the Thoroughbred Times we were highlighted nationwide! Here is what was quoted in general, "Jim Pippo of Whitehall signed the ticket for the sale-topping Medaglia d'Oro colt. Whitehall President, Jim Pippo, Vice-President, Vincent Pippo, and Seth Benzel, said they viewed the colt as a classic prospect. ‘Medaglia d'Oro is the hottest sire out there,’ Benzel said. The family line is strong, and we thought as an individual he had the most potential of anything in this sale to accomplish the most. To us, the sky is the limit with this type of horse. Jim Pippo and Whitehall have stepped up and shown they're part of this game and willing to go that extra mile to get a good horse.
Two other Medaglia d'Oro horses at big sales just sold for over one million dollars each and we were extremely fortunate to purchase this colt for this kind of value. He is a wonderful specimen and has a classic pedigree on the Dam side with multiple grade 1 and 2 winners.
