Are you interested in an early two year old with genuine racehorse pedigree and athletic attributes? If so, with this beautiful moving individual, you can “check off all the boxes.”

At the Maryland Sale, our trainer Seth Benzel was particularly impressed with how easily this chestnut filly trains. She worked a quarter mile in a swift 22:4 --- well within herself. We watched a great many horses work out, and we were impressed with her power and grace.

Her sire, MALIBU MOON (A.P. INDY/ MR. PROSPECTOR), is currently the seventh leading North American sire and A.P. INDY’S leading son at stud by stakes winners. His progeny can sprint, route, and run on all types of surfaces. His stud fee is $40K, and he’s booked full every year. His progeny consistently average twice that amount as weanlings/yearlings at the sales. His horses can really run…and we think this one can, as well.

This sire power is matched nicely with a female family you have to admire. The filly’s first three dams have had a combined 25 foals --- ALL of which are winners! The dam, BUXTON SPICE, is a stakes winner of $218K and a prolific producer. Her foals have earned $263K, $133K, $76K, $73K, etc. This is the first time she was bred to a stallion with a stud fee of over $7,500. In other words, the best is yet to come for BUXTON SPICE.

We are “over the moon” with our MALIBU MOON filly. She could actually “eclipse” his other Grade 1 winning fillies like MALIBU MINT, DEVIL MAY CARE and FUNNY MOON!
